The trunk, the branches, the leaves

A life can keep growing.

Liberty to Live is Mary J. Preble’s developing community initiative for people affected by incarceration and the work of coming home.

Mary, née Curran, brings lived experience to a purpose grounded in dignity, practical support, and human connection. Liberty to Live is a branch of the broader Preble HQ family.

Preble HQ is the trunk: a home for Mary and Joe’s creative work, businesses, and growing community projects. Liberty to Live has its own space to focus on the people and needs behind this work.

Growing toward nonprofit status

501(c)(3) recognition is a future goal and has not been obtained. Liberty to Live is currently a developing initiative. Contributions are not advertised here as tax deductible.

A few things to know

Will my request be visible to everyone?

No public needs board is maintained here. The form builds an email draft; its contents are sent only when you choose to send that email. Email is not a secure document portal.

How can I help someone?

Use “Offer help” to describe your time, skills, or resources, or ask about current needs. Discuss the recipient and the next step before committing funds or assistance.

Does a JailATM payment go to Liberty to Live?

The JailATM link opens the independent provider’s portal. You choose the facility and recipient there. It is not a Liberty to Live donation checkout.
